Frankfurt ecumenical church choir

The Frankfurt ecumenical Church Choir has about 71 members, and this includes people that are not belonging to any faith. The choir was founded by amalgamating several parish choirs of the town. The choirs repertoire includes all major symphonic choir works and its main performances are at church services, the towns old peoples homes and hospices. Stefan Hardt is the musical director since 2003.

 

 

Frankfurt children and youth church choir

The choir which is about 50 people strong perform at church services, as well a parish festivities and private functions. They regularly support the Oekomenische Kantorei performing the large oratorios. They also undertake annual concert tours through Germany and Europe. The latest press critiques praise the choir for its musical interpretation, its style confidence, its homogeneity and its intonation.

 

 

Orchestra of Frankfurts Friends of Music

The »Gesellschaft des Orchesters der Frankfurter Musikfreunde e.V« is an orchestra where people from various backgrounds come together. It was founded in 1971 as the »Sinfonieorchester der Werkttigen« (lit. Symphony Orchestra of the Working People) and it became part of the concert hall »Carl Philipp Emanual Bach«. The orchestra received its current name in December 1990 the »Gesellschaft« (society) was established. With a varied repertoire from classical to modern music the orchestra holds its performances in Frankfurt (Oder), Slubice and surrounding areas.
