A one day trip around the »New March« (Ziemia Lubuska, Poland)

Our trip starts in Slubfurt, the first polish-german city, consisting of two districts, Slub(ice) and (Frank)furt. Our bus is going to bring us first to Kostrzyn. We invite you to take a walk with us across the area of the former fortifications and old town of Kstrin, which had been totally destroyed at the end of World War II and now can be seen as the »Pompeji of Central Europe«, because it has not been rebuilt until today. After lunch we will continue our trip passing by some regional towns and villages like Mieszkowice, Moryn, Cedynia and Gozdowice. While returning to Slubfurt we might pay a visit to the old prussian fortifications of Sarbinowo, if you won't be too tired yet.
